Welding certificate EN 1090-2 EXC4 for load-bearing structures is proof of ability and quality in order to ensure
competitiveness and meet our customers’ quality requirements. In Finland, only some companies in the metal and
engineering industry have the corresponding EXC4 rating. Requirements for EN 1090 compliant welding operations
are determined directly by the welding quality standard EN ISO 3834 (Quality requirements for fusion welding of metals):
Inter alia, the qualifications of welding personnel, welding instructions and their approval, weld inspection,
and the recognisability and traceability of materials.
